Sysme POS 5.39 – Review 10/08/2026

Good morning everyone,

Today we are releasing the 10/08/2026 revision of Sysme POS 5.39, a particularly important update that, in practice, represents a second release of all the changes and improvements we had planned for this version.

Following the initial release of Sysme POS 5.39, we have continued working intensively over the last few days, adding new customisation options, major improvements to Sysme POS Mobile, a complete redesign of Auto Sale mode, new control features and a further phase of internal software optimisation.

Although the number and scope of the changes could practically justify considering this a new version, we have decided to include it as a free revision of Sysme POS 5.39, completing the work started with this version.

What’s new in this revision?

The main new features included in this second release of Sysme POS 5.39 include:

  • Greater customisation of the sales terminal.
  • Better adaptation to different screens, resolutions and Windows scaling settings.
  • New display options in Sysme POS Mobile.
  • Zoom and touch navigation on the Sysme POS Mobile table map.
  • Complete redesign of Auto Sale mode.
  • Greater traceability of changes and deletions made during sales.
  • A new phase of general optimisation and removal of legacy software components.

Sales terminal

Category and product customisation

We have added an important improvement that allows you to configure how category and product buttons are arranged and displayed on the sales terminal.

From this revision onwards, users can choose:

  • The number of category and product rows.
  • The number of category and product columns.
  • The percentage of space occupied by each of the two sections.

This makes it much easier to adapt the sales terminal to the needs of each business, the number of available products and, above all, the size and format of the screen being used.

New scaling system

We have also modified the way the sales terminal adapts to different screen resolutions.

As you already know, the Sysme POS sales terminal opens maximised and automatically adapts its components to the available resolution. However, some computers — particularly certain laptops — use custom scaling settings configured by Windows or by the computer manufacturer.

In some cases, these settings could cause certain buttons or elements to appear outside the visible area of the screen.

The new scaling system now takes these settings into account to provide more accurate adaptation of the sales terminal.

Sysme POS Mobile

New customisation options

As with the Sysme POS for Windows sales terminal, we have added new options to configure the number of rows, columns and percentage of space used by categories and products, as well as other customisable display options.

These settings are independent from Sysme POS for Windows, allowing each device to use a different layout.

For example, the Windows terminal can be optimised for a large screen while Sysme POS Mobile uses a completely different layout adapted to a phone or tablet.

Zoom and touch navigation on the table map

We have also added an improvement that we believe will be particularly useful for businesses with large room maps.

The Sysme POS Mobile table map can now be zoomed in, zoomed out and moved using touch gestures.

A simple pinch gesture can be used to zoom the map in or out and then move around it, making navigation much more comfortable on phones and tablets.

New Auto Sale mode

We have completely redesigned Sysme POS Auto Sale mode.

The aim is to provide a clean, simple interface designed to be used directly by the end customer, allowing a terminal to be turned into a self-service ordering point.

The new mode includes security and control measures designed to prevent improper use and supports different ways of completing an order:

  • Order now and pay later at the checkout.
  • Order and pay by card using the Redsys POS/PC system.

With this redesign, we want Auto Sale mode to become a genuinely useful option for businesses that want to provide self-service terminals integrated directly with Sysme POS.

New features

Greater traceability of sales lines

Sysme POS now records the employee and exact time of the most recent change made to a sales line, including both existing lines and lines that are subsequently deleted.

We have also changed the behaviour when deleting the last line of an active sale. From this revision onwards, deleting the last line no longer automatically cancels the sale.

This allows the individual record of that line to be retained as deleted, providing more complete traceability of the actions performed during the sale.

Corrections

This revision also includes several corrections identified during the use of Sysme POS 5.39:

  • Fixed a performance issue when opening combined products.
  • Fixed the display of graphic lines in certain print formats.
  • Fixed dead spots or non-clickable areas on some category and product buttons in the sales terminal.
  • Fixed the display of category and product images in the sales terminal.

General optimisation

We are continuing the internal optimisation process started with Sysme POS 5.39.

Sysme POS now has more than 20 years of continuous development and evolution, and over such a long period it is inevitable that some processes, forms and components remain after having been replaced by more modern solutions.

In this revision, we have carried out another phase of internal clean-up, removing old processes and forms that are no longer required and also reviewing the processes involved during application startup.

The aim is to continue reducing unnecessary work, make better use of system resources and achieve smoother, more stable startup and overall operation.

Free update for Sysme POS 5.39 users

This release is a revision of Sysme POS 5.39 and is therefore completely free of charge for all users who have already updated to this version.

If you already have Sysme POS 5.39, you do not need to purchase another update key.

Simply download the latest Sysme POS revision and install it by following the usual steps in the update manual:

https://www.sysme.net/sysme-tpv/manual-del-usuario/instalacion/actualizacion-de-version/

As always, revisions within the same version include bug fixes, stability improvements and minor or major adjustments that we consider necessary to complete and properly maintain the released version.

Thank you for your trust and for continuing to be part of Sysme.
