With the release of Sysme POS 5.40, we have introduced a new integration with Comercia Global Payments payment terminals, expanding the payment options available in our software.
This connection is a step forward from traditional card terminals physically connected to a computer, such as the Redsys TPV-PC integration.
You can now use wireless payment terminals, connect multiple devices at your business and even take orders and accept card payments on the same compatible Android device.
Here are the main advantages.
Wireless card terminals: take payments without being tied to a computer
One of the main differences compared with the traditional Redsys TPV-PC connection is that the payment terminal no longer needs a USB cable connecting it to the computer.
Compatible Comercia Global Payments terminals can communicate with Sysme POS over the network using Wi-Fi.
This gives your team greater freedom:
• Take card payments directly at the customer’s table.
• Use a payment terminal in different areas of your business.
• Avoid physical cables between the computer and the terminal.
• Keep payments integrated with Sysme POS without entering amounts manually.
Sysme POS sends the amount to the terminal, which processes the payment and returns the result to the software.
More flexible, configurable communication
The new integration provides greater flexibility than traditional USB connections.
Sysme POS lets you configure compatible terminals using the connection details provided when the service is set up.
In addition to taking payments, the integration supports:
• Refund transactions.
• Checking transaction status.
• Retrieving the result of a transaction if communication is interrupted.
• Configuring different terminals and payment methods.
Transaction status checks are particularly useful: if communication is lost during a payment, the software can check the outcome before attempting it again, reducing the risk of charging a customer twice.
Sysme POS Mobile and card payments on the same device
This is perhaps one of the most interesting new features for hospitality businesses.
Certain Comercia Global Payments Android terminals allow additional applications to be installed, including Sysme POS Mobile, provided the model is compatible.
This means a waiter can use a single device throughout the service:
1. Take the customer’s order at the table using Sysme POS Mobile.
2. Send the order to Sysme POS and the kitchen.
3. Retrieve the sale when the customer asks for the bill.
4. Accept a card payment directly on the same device.
One device for taking orders and payments, instead of carrying separate devices for each task.
This can simplify the equipment used by front-of-house staff and make service more efficient.
Sysme POS Mobile availability depends on the Android payment terminal model and its compatibility with the application.
Connect multiple payment terminals to Sysme POS
Another important advantage is the ability to work with multiple payment terminals.
For example, a restaurant could have one terminal at the bar and others for waiters serving tables.
Sysme POS supports configuring different compatible terminals, helping you organize payments to suit your business.
This is particularly useful for venues with several service points or a high volume of transactions.

The Comercia Global Payments integration is not limited to the traditional point-of-sale terminal.
It is also available for Sysme Kiosk, our new touchscreen self-service ordering system.
Customers can choose their products at the kiosk and pay using a compatible card terminal, without staff assistance.

How can I get a payment terminal compatible with Sysme POS?
Sysme POS already includes the functionality needed to connect to compatible Comercia Global Payments terminals.
Comercia handles the payment service contract and terminal setup directly.
The process is straightforward:
1. Submit your request through our contact form.
2. Comercia Global Payments will contact you to explain pricing, available terminals and contract options.
3. Comercia will arrange supply, installation and setup of the contracted payment terminals.
4. Once setup is complete and the merchant code is authorized, you can configure the connection in Sysme POS using the merchant identifier provided and the terminal’s IP address.
Fees, transaction charges and other payment service terms are agreed directly between the business and Comercia Global Payments.
Sysme does not sell or supply payment terminals: we provide the built-in software connectivity and help put interested businesses in touch with the provider.
