Sysme TPV 5.39 – Update 14 September 2026

This new Sysme TPV 5.39 update introduces significant improvements to the application’s internal components, particularly for new installations, along with several fixes aimed at improving keyboard operation and the stability of synchronization processes.

Among the most notable changes are the adoption of MariaDB as the default database engine for new installations, the upgrade of the internal web server to Apache 2.4 and PHP 8, and the digital signing of all executables and libraries distributed with Sysme TPV.

MariaDB as the default database engine

Starting with this update, new Sysme TPV installations use MariaDB as the default database engine.

This change is part of the ongoing modernization of Sysme TPV’s internal components and only affects new installations. Existing installations can continue using their current configuration.

We have also reduced the contents of the MariaDB directory so that only the files required by Sysme TPV are included, reducing the overall size of the installation and removing unnecessary components.

Internal web server upgrade

We have upgraded the web server included with Sysme TPV to Apache 2.4 and PHP 8, replacing the components used in previous releases.

This server is used not only by Sysme TPV Mobile, but also by other internal services, including QR code functionality and certain electronic invoicing processes.

This upgrade modernizes this part of the platform and provides current versions of Apache and PHP for features that rely on the internal web server.

Digital signing of executables and libraries

All executables and libraries distributed with Sysme TPV are now digitally signed.

This includes both components developed by Sysme and third-party components included with the installation, such as MariaDB, MySQL, PHP, Apache, AutoFirma and cURL.

This change improves the identification and integrity of the files included with Sysme TPV and helps reduce potential warnings or blocks from Windows and certain security solutions.

New keyboard shortcut for copying products

We continue to expand the keyboard shortcuts available in product management.

This update adds the F10 key to copy the selected product, allowing you to quickly create a new product based on the details of an existing one.

Fixes included

In addition to these improvements, this update includes the following fixes:

  • Several English translations have been corrected.
  • Fixed incorrect characters appearing in some labels and text containing accented characters or ñ.
  • Fixed the + (increase quantity), – (decrease quantity) and Delete (remove line) keyboard shortcuts in the sales terminal, which could stop working after applying a discount to a sale.
  • Fixed an issue in SysmeSync.exe that could cause the process to fail when handling a large volume of historical data.
  • Fixed keyboard navigation in the cash movements and payments window. The Tab key did not move the focus to the movement type field, preventing the window from being used properly without a mouse.
