InnoDB: Database was not shut down normally!
#1

.txt   DESKTOP-duncan.txt (Tamaño: 46.34 KB / Descargas: 1) Hi there.
I´m new to this.
Bought a restaurant including the computer with an existing SysMe TPV installation on it.
You guest it.. after 2 years it breaks.
Started with functional errors yesterday, didn´t print tickets.
Today it does print again.
So, time to view the logfile(s).
Logfile attached.
ib_logfiles are about 5Mb each (2).
ibdata about 150Mb.
I do see a mysql-nt process,, but no mysql tools.
I understand Oracle DBs, but MySQL (yes, also Oracle) not so much.
version 4.96
There don´t seem to be backups. Still need to implement these.. after I get the errors out.
also attached xampp/apache log
How do I make sure that InnoDB is closed propperly?

Thanks in advance
(sorry my spanish is still terrible).

Good morning Duncan, welcome to the forum.

Sysme TPV version 4.96 is almost 8 years old, so it's good to know you haven't had any significant problems in all these years.

The printing problem isn't related to anything in the database logs; they're fine.

Always leave the data engine running to allow connections from other possible devices; that's why you're getting the warning about improper closure, but it's nothing to worry about.

Check the printer's USB connector for any issues. After years of use, there's often some looseness that can cause printers to disconnect.

Regards.
